Hello, a month ago I had access to auto-lyrics templates that were very useful for me. I can no longer see them. when i do Auto-lyrics, it gives me white normal captions with no effects and no choices for templates.
I have paid premium to see if that would help, but it didnt. My friend has access to them without a problem.
can you please help me ??
Hi,
It is definitely puzzling that your auto-lyrics templates have disappeared, especially since you found them useful and your friend still has them. Let us investigate why this might be happening and how to get them back.
Auto-lyrics templates are a feature in CapCut: CapCut does offer auto-lyrics templates and they are intended to make creating lyric videos easier.
Here are a few potential reasons why you might not be seeing the auto-lyrics templates in CapCut anymore, even with a premium subscription:
Possible Reasons & Solutions:
- Feature Update or Change:
Explanation: CapCut regularly updates its features. It is possible that the location or appearance of the auto-lyrics templates has changed in a recent update. They might not be gone entirely, but simply moved or redesigned.
Solution:
Explore the Auto-Lyrics Interface: Carefully re-examine the auto-lyrics interface within CapCut. Look for any different tabs, menus, or icons that might now house the templates. Sometimes features are reorganized in updates.
Check CapCut Update Notes: If you have recently updated CapCut, check the update notes or "What's New" section in the app or app store description. These notes detail feature changes or movements.
- App Glitch or Bug:
Explanation: It is possible a temporary glitch or bug in the CapCut app is causing the templates to not load or display correctly for your account specifically.
Solutions:
Restart CapCut: Completely close the CapCut app and then reopen it. This simple step often resolves temporary glitches.
Update CapCut App: Make sure you are using the very latest version of CapCut. Outdated app versions are more prone to bugs. Check for updates in your device's app store (Google Play Store or Apple App Store).
Clear Cache: Clearing the app's cache can sometimes resolve display issues. Go to your device's settings, find the CapCut app, and look for the option to clear cache.
Reinstall CapCut App: If clearing the cache doesn't work, try uninstalling and then reinstalling the CapCut app. This ensures you have a fresh installation.
- A/B Testing or Feature Rollout Variation:
Explanation: Capcut sometimes use A/B testing or phased feature rollouts. This means that new features or feature variations might be available to some users but not others, even with the same app version. It is possible your friend is in a group that still has the templates, while your account is in a group with a different version of the auto-lyrics feature.
Solution: Unfortunately, if this is the case, there's not much you can directly do except wait. However, contacting CapCut technical support (see below) can help you confirm if this is the reason.
- Account-Specific Issue:
Explanation: In rare cases, there might be an issue specific to your CapCut account that is affecting feature availability.
Solution:
Check Account Details: Double-check that you are signed into the CapCut app with the correct account associated with your Premium subscription.
Try a Different Device or Account
Since your friend has access to the templates, try logging into their account on your device. If they can see the templates on your phone, the issue might be related to your account rather than your app.
Check Auto-Lyrics Settings
When using auto-lyrics, see if there's an option to switch between different styles or templates.
If it's defaulting to plain text, look for a "Style" or "Effects" section after generating the captions.
If the above solutions don't work then try reaching out Capcut technical support team at [email protected] or [email protected]. CapCut support can investigate your specific account and feature access.
- Information to Provide: When contacting support, be sure to include:
- Details about your CapCut Premium subscription
- Your Member ID (if you know it)
- A clear description of the missing auto-lyrics templates and that you now only see plain white captions.
- Mention that your friend does still have access to the templates.
- The date you noticed the templates disappeared.
- The troubleshooting steps you've already tried (restarting, updating, etc.).
- Screenshots of your auto-lyrics interface showing the lack of templates can be very helpful.
Let us know if any of these work for you.
