Hi, I am having trouble logging in capcut pro on my mac. It said 'cant log in, try again after 24 hours'. I have tried everything, waited for 24 hours, reinstalled the app, installed the latest version, updated IOS to the latest version, cleaned the cache for capcut. Does anyone have the same issue? How to solve it? Thank you!

Given that you've already tried waiting 24 hours, reinstalling the app, updating to the latest version, and clearing the cache without success, here are some additional steps you might consider:

Basic checks:

  1. Check Your Internet Connection: Ensure you have a stable internet connection, as connectivity issues can affect login processes.

  2. Use a Different Network: Sometimes, network-specific issues can cause problems. Try connecting to a different Wi-Fi network or use a mobile hotspot to see if that resolves the issue.

Mac-Specific checks:

  • Check your Mac's Date and Time: An incorrect date and time on your Mac can sometimes interfere with app logins. Make sure they are set correctly and, ideally, set to update automatically. Go to System Preferences > Date & Time.
  • Firewall Interference: Your Mac's firewall might be blocking CapCut's connection. Temporarily disable the firewall (System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Firewall) to see if that resolves the issue. If it does, you'll need to add CapCut to the firewall exceptions.
  • VPN or Proxy Issues: If you're using a VPN or proxy server, try disabling it temporarily. Sometimes these can interfere with app logins.
  • DNS Problems: Problems with your DNS server can also prevent apps from connecting. Try flushing your DNS cache. Here's how:
    • Open Terminal (Applications > Utilities > Terminal).
    • Type sudo dscacheutil -flushcache; sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder (for macOS Mojave and later) or sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder (for earlier macOS versions) and press Enter.
    • You'll be prompted for your administrator password.

General troubleshooting steps:

  •  CapCut Server Issues: It's possible there might be server issues at capcut end. Just wait for sometime and try again.
  • Account Issues: Try logging into the CapCut website to make sure your account credentials are correct and active. You might need to reset your password.
  • Internet Connection: Ensure your internet connection is stable. Try other apps or websites to see if you have any connectivity issues.
  • Complete Uninstall: Make sure you're completely uninstalling CapCut. Sometimes leftover files can cause problems. After uninstalling, restart your Mac before reinstalling.

Contact CapCut Support: If the problem persists despite the above steps, it is recommended to reach out directly to CapCut's support team at [email protected] for personalized assistance.
