I have bought subscription for Capcut and its input text doesnt work. It shows big "Input text" on screen but when I try to input any text it doesn't change at all. I have tried to restart, install again, or try the online version of capcut, still the problem continues.

Hi,

Since you have already tried restart, reinstalling and using the online version, we present you the following debugging options and possible solutions:

  • Check for Software Updates: Ensure that you're using the latest version of CapCut. Developers frequently release updates to fix bugs and improve functionality.
  • Clear Cache and Data: On your device, go to Settings > Apps > CapCut > Storage, and then clear the cache and data. This can resolve issues caused by corrupted temporary files.
  • Verify Permissions: Make sure CapCut has the necessary permissions to function correctly. Go to Settings > Apps > CapCut > Permissions, and grant all required permissions.
  • Try a Different Device: If possible, install CapCut on another device to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is specific to your current device.
  • Ensure you are using the account login which has the active subscription on capcut.
  • Ensure your operating system (Windows, macOS, etc.) meets CapCut's minimum system requirements. Check for any pending operating system updates and install them.
  • Update your graphics drivers to the latest version from your graphics card manufacturer's website (NVIDIA, AMD, Intel).

Font Conflicts:

  • Corrupted or incompatible fonts on your system can interfere with text input.
  • Try temporarily disabling recently installed fonts.
  • Try changing the font that capcut is using to a very basic font, like arial or times new roman.

Background Applications:

  • Other applications running in the background might be conflicting with CapCut.
  • Try closing unnecessary applications and see if the issue persists.

Firewall/Antivirus:

  • Your firewall or antivirus software might be blocking CapCut's access to certain resources.
  • Temporarily disable your firewall/antivirus (with caution) to see if it resolves the issue. If it does, add CapCut to your firewall/antivirus exceptions.

CapCut-Specific Issues:

  • If the issue is limited to a specific project, the project file might be corrupted.
  • Try creating a new project and see if the text input works.

CapCut Support:

Contact CapCut's customer support by accessing the developer team at [email protected]:

  • Provide them with detailed information about the issue, including:
  • Your operating system and version.
  • Your CapCut version.
  • Screenshots or screen recordings of the problem.
  • Your account information.
  • Details about your PRO subscription such as capcut ID and date of subscription

By following the above steps you should be able to identify the issue and resolve the same.
