HI Could anybody help me. I am a UK resident and solely use Capcut on my PC. I pay £10.99 per month for Capcut Pro. but cant get Pro on my PC. I also cannot see any way to contact Capcut.
I noticed that there are still Capcut Pro prompts, always trying to get me to pay for Pro when I should already have it. Strangely these prompts when you access then state that its £21.00 per month for the Pro version. I would greatly appreciate any help with this
Hi,
We are sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties accessing your CapCut Pro subscription on your PC. Here are the possible reasons why you are experiencing this and the corresponding troubleshooting steps:
-
Account Synchronization:
- Ensure you are logged into the same CapCut account on both your mobile device (where the subscription was purchased) and your PC. Discrepancies between accounts can lead to access issues.
- Open the CapCut application on your PC.
- Go to your profile or account settings within the app (a corner menu, represented by a profile icon or your account name).
- Most importantly, ensure you are logged in with the exact same account (email address or login method) that you used when you purchased the CapCut Pro subscription. This is the most common reason for Pro features not unlocking. If you have multiple accounts, you might be logged into the wrong one.
-
Subscription platform differences:
- Subscriptions purchased through mobile app stores (like Apple's App Store or Google Play) may not automatically sync with the desktop version. To resolve this, try the following:
- Log out and back into your CapCut account on both devices.
- If the issue persists, consider contacting CapCut support for assistance (more on this below).
- If you purchased your subscription through the CapCut mobile app (via Apple App Store or Google Play Store), manage your subscriptions through your Apple ID or Google account settings respectively.
- Ensure your subscription is active and in good standing.
- Subscriptions purchased through mobile app stores (like Apple's App Store or Google Play) may not automatically sync with the desktop version. To resolve this, try the following:
- Restart CapCut and your PC/Reinstall CapCut on your PC:
- Close the CapCut application completely.
- Restart your PC.
- Re-open CapCut and check if the Pro features are now active. Sometimes a simple restart can refresh the app's connection to your account status.
- Uninstall CapCut from your PC.
- Download and install the latest version of CapCut for PC from the app store for your PC (like the Microsoft Store if you are on Windows).
- Log in again with your CapCut account after reinstalling. This ensures you have a fresh installation and can resolve any corrupted files that might be causing issues.
-
Pricing discrepancies:
- The difference in subscription prices (£10.99 vs. £21.00) is due to different tiers within CapCut PRO plans. CapCut now offers a "Standard" tier and a "PRO" tier. Your account might be on the Standard tier of the CapCut premium package which costs £10.99 per month as compared to the full fledged CapCut PRO tier which is billed at £21.00 per month.
If you are not getting the problem resolved despite trying the above steps then contacting the CapCut developer support is the best method:
- Write an email to [email protected] as well as [email protected] and explain this situation. Provide details such as account ID, payment details, screenshots etc.
-
In-app feedback/help (Mobile App): The mobile app version of CapCut has a "Feedback" or "Help & Support" section within the account settings. Check the mobile app where you can submit a support request from within the app. You can also access the "Feedback" section from CapCut web (top right hand corner).
-
Social media: While not ideal for direct support, you could try reaching out to CapCut on the social media channels (X (Twitter) or Facebook). While they might not resolve your issue directly through social media, it can help bring attention to your problem.
Hopefully, by following these steps and contacting support, you will be able to get your CapCut Pro access working correctly on your PC and resolve the pricing confusion.
