Hi,

The error code 222 in payment systems often indicate issues with the payment method, such as the card number not being recognized by the issuing bank.

To resolve this issue, consider the following steps:

  • Verify Payment Information: Ensure that all your payment details, including card number, expiration date, and CVV, are entered correctly.
  • Contact Your Bank: Reach out to your bank to confirm that your card is active and authorized for online transactions. They can provide insights into any potential blocks or issues. Also ensure you have enough funds in the account and no block on the card.
  • Try an Alternative Payment Method: If the problem persists, consider using a different payment method. For instance, you can subscribe to CapCut Pro using alternative payment platforms like GCash, PayPal or Stripe.
  • It is worth noting that some online payment systems use the error code 222 to indicate that "The submitted card number is not on file with the card-issuing bank." This means most likely you will need to contact your bank.
  • Card Issuer Issues: The most likely cause is a problem with your bank or credit card issuer. This could include:
    * Insufficient funds.
    * Card being blocked for online transactions.
    * Incorrect card information (number, expiration date, CVV).
    * Suspicious activity flagged by your bank.
  • Payment Gateway Problems:
    * CapCut uses a payment gateway to process transactions. There might be a temporary issue with the gateway.
  • It is possible that there are regional restrictions on payment methods.

Try all these methods first. If it still doesn't work out then please write an email to [email protected] explaining this situation. Good luck.
