updating payment method

Hi,

I have a capcut account PRO account. I want to change the credit card where monthly fee is debited from. How am I able to do so? Please let me know.

CapCut Pro currently does not provide an option to update your payment method directly. Instead, you will need to cancel your current subscription and then sign up again using your new payment details. Here is what you can do for such cases:

1. Cancel your current subscription:

• Log In: Open your CapCut app/website and sign in to your account.
• Find subscription settings: Navigate to the “Subscription” or “Account” section in the top right corner.
• Disable auto-renewal: Turn off auto-renewal to prevent future charges on your existing payment method.
• Confirm cancellation: Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm the cancellation.
• Note that once you cancel subscription you will continue to receive the benefits of PRO account until the end of current billing cycle.

2. Re-subscribe with your new payment method:

• Wait for expiration: Your current subscription remains active until the end of the billing cycle.
• Re-subscribe: Once your subscription expires, choose your preferred plan and enter your new payment information during checkout.

What else can be done?

• Check alternative payment options: CapCut Pro offers other payment methods such as PayPal, Bank Transfer or digital wallets; verify these options at the time of checkout (depending on your country).
