Hi.

In such cases you need to wait for sometime before you try to login. Read the detailed guide here about login issues on CapCut. CapCut requires users to be of minimum 13 years age to use.

Generally this happens if you inadvertently enter an incorrect birth date which system considers as minor ineligible to use CapCut. Try logging in after few minutes and see if that solves your issue.

  • CapCut's systems sometimes have automated checks, and it's possible the ban was triggered automatically. In this case you will likely have to wait out the 24-hour ban period.
  • Keep an eye on your email (the one associated with your CapCut/TikTok account) and any in-app notifications. CapCut should notify you when the 24-hour ban is lifted or if they require any further information.

Steps to address the age related issue while logging in on CapCut:

  1. Check account status

    • Since you've already submitted your driving license for age verification, it is essential to wait for CapCut's response. You will generally hear back from the team in a day or two.
    • Try logging in again after the 24 hours have passed. If you are still locked out, proceed to the next steps.
  2. Contact Support:

    • If you don't receive a response within a reasonable timeframe, consider reaching out directly to CapCut's support team at [email protected] for an update on your appeal.
    • Explain the situation clearly and add any screenshots or videos of the ban message if you can. Emphasize that you are 27 years old and have already submitted your driving license as proof of age. Provide with any reference numbers or case IDs you received when you submitted your ID.
  3. Ensure accurate information:

    • Double-check that all the information provided during the appeal is accurate and matches your official documents. Any discrepancies can lead to delays or rejection.
    • If CapCut support requests further verification, provide your driving license or other official ID again. Make sure the image is clear and that all the information is visible. If possible try to provide any other ID if you are comfortable with such as health card, passport scans etc. This might help in faster verification.

What might be happening in this case?

  • Automated systems: CapCut uses automated systems to detect potentially underage users. These systems can sometimes make mistakes.
  • Data entry error: There might have been an error when you initially entered your age, either by you or by a glitch.
  • Verification delay: It's possible that there's a delay in processing age verification.

Alternative solutions:

  • Create a new account:
    • If the appeal process is taking longer than expected and you need immediate access, you might consider creating a new CapCut account using a different email address. However, be aware that this is a temporary workaround, and your original account's data may not be transferable.
    • It's very likely that this is a mistake or a delay in the way CapCut verification process works. By being persistent and providing the necessary information, you should be able to get your account unlocked.

Important points to note:

  • Age verification:

    • Ensure that the documents you submit clearly show your date of birth and are legible. Blurry or obscured images can result in appeal denial.
  • Stay updated:

    • Regularly check your email (including spam/junk folders) for any communication from CapCut regarding your appeal.

We hope this helps, and that your issue is resolved promptly.
