Hi.

We have a detailed post regarding CapCut Creator Program. You can go through the rules and regulations there. Also, due to high volume of interest shown by lot of CapCut users globally, the response times can be slow. Additionally, not all the creators end up making it due to stringent selection requirements. Therefore, it is recommended to wait for some more time to see if you get the selection mail from CapCut.

Hi,

It is understandable that you are waiting to hear back about your CapCut creator application. Due to large volumes of applications, there might be additional wait times. Let us figure out what steps you can take.

Please note that processing time for CapCut creator applications can vary, and unfortunately, delays do happen. Here is what you can do:

Typical CapCut application review times and potential delays

While CapCut aims to respond within 10 business days, it is not always guaranteed. Here is what you need to know about typical timelines and reasons for delays:

  • General processing time: The 10 business days timeframe you mentioned is likely the target, but some times the waiting times can get even longer. It is not uncommon for applications to remain "under review" for several weeks or even a month.

  • High application volume: CapCut is a popular platform, and the creator program receives a high volume of applications. This can naturally extend the review process.

  • Thorough review process: CapCut has a detailed review process to ensure creators align with the CapCut platform standards and community guidelines. This review might take longer than initially estimated.

  • No guaranteed timeframe: The timelines mentioned is typical and not guaranteed. This means the 10 business days is an estimate, not a strict deadline.

What you can do now?

Since it has been a month and your application is still "under review," here are the recommended steps:

  1. Check your application dashboard again: While you mentioned it still says "under review," double-check the application portal or dashboard where you applied. Sometimes, there might be updates or messages that are easily missed. Look for any notifications, requests for additional information, or changes in status beyond "under review."

  2. Ensure you have checked all email folders, including spam or junk folders, for any communication from CapCut regarding your application.
  3. Contact CapCut support directly: The most direct way to get an update is to reach out to CapCut support team. Write an email to [email protected] or use the "Feedback" section within your app to submit a review for your application.

  4. Be patient and wait a little longer: While a month is longer than the initial 10 business days, application reviews can sometimes take time. Before considering reapplying, give it a little more time, especially after you have contacted support.

  5. Avoid re-applying immediately: Unless CapCut support specifically advises you to re-apply, avoid submitting a new application right away. Re-applying while one is already under review might cause confusion or further delay the process. Wait for a response or guidance from their support team.

  6. If you still not received a response it mostly means your initial application might have been unfortunately rejected, in such cases try resubmitting your application or updating it with any new information that might support your eligibility.

When you contact CapCut support, be sure to provide them with:

  • The email address you used for your application.
  • The approximate date you submitted your application.
  • Any application reference number if you received one.
  • Clearly state that you are inquiring about the status of your CapCut creator application and that it has been under review for longer than the initially stated timeframe.

We hope this helps you get some clarity on your application status. Reaching out to CapCut support directly is the most effective step to take right now.
