Hello,
I've had problems over the past month regarding the Auto generate beats feature, I've tried it again and leaving it to load for roughly 10mins with no success. I've tried closing the app and updating but the same issue occurs..
Hi,
Some times due to glitch in the CapCut app, the auto generate beats feature tends to hang. It generally happens due to audio sources wherein it can hang indefinitely (even after 10 minutes of waiting) or simply return an error.
Try the below workarounds:
1. Check the source of your audio file
The auto beat generation feature works best with audio from CapCut’s own music library rather than with tracks imported directly from your device.
- What to do:
- If you’re using an external audio file, consider playing the track on another device and screen recording it, then import that recording into CapCut.
- Alternatively, try selecting a song from CapCut’s internal library to see if the auto generate beats feature works with that audio.
2. Verify file format and quality
Sometimes the issue can come from the audio file itself. Make sure the file is in a commonly supported format like MP3 and isn’t corrupted or overly compressed. A low-quality file may not have clear beats for the algorithm to detect.
The audio file you're using might be corrupted, or be too long/complex for the feature to analyze effectively.
3. Ensure a Stable Network Connection
Although the auto generate beats feature typically processes on your device, some functions in CapCut may rely on server-side processing. Double-check that your internet connection is stable during the process.
4. Efficient resource utilization
- The "Auto generate beats" feature requires more processing power than usual. Make sure your phone has the processing capacity in order to proceed.
- Close any other apps running in the background to free up RAM.
- If your phone's storage is almost full, delete some files to create more space.
- Try using a different audio file to see if the problem is specific to one file or a general issue.
- Ensure that CapCut has the necessary permissions to access your storage and audio files.
5. Clear app cache or try reinstall
Since you’ve already tried closing the app and updating it, you might also consider clearing the app cache on your phone or reinstalling the app. This can help resolve any temporary glitches that might be interfering with the feature.
In rare cases, a specific feature might be temporarily unavailable due to server congestion or local restrictions.
6. Report the issue to the developers
If none of the above workarounds help, it might be the case that there is a bug that CapCut’s developers are already working on. In that case, consider reporting the issue by writing an email to [email protected]. Include below information:
- The type of audio file you’re using (format, source, quality)
- Your device model and operating system version
- A description of how long you’ve waited for the beat generation to complete
This information can help the support team diagnose the problem more effectively.
