I was browsing the CapCut app and it showed an offer for 7 day free trial. I decided to explore the free trial in order to experience the CapCut PRO features. However, today I was charged for the same. Is there anything I can do for getting a refund as I wanted to cancel the free trial and do not want to avail the subscription.
I put a pro effect on an edit I was making and it said 7 day free trial and I thought alright yeah that’d be good so I can see what it has to offer and I went to subscribe and I got charged instantly. I'm not sure if maybe I did something wrong or something else but I was just going to ask how come I didn’t get the 7 days, and then get charged instead of being charged instantly.

In case you forget to cancel the subscription within the 7 day free trial then CapCut renews the subscription into a paid one. So user will get charged from CapCut on the same. In order to follow process for requesting a refund you may read this post. Alternatively try contacting the developer directly at [email protected] and request for a refund quoting your user ID and mentioning the reason if that helps.
