Hello! I've been using capcut for years now so I highly depend on it for my editings and today like an hour ago. I am unable to use any of the effects of capcut.
it either stays in Loading forever or tells me that I have no internet connection which I do.
I have tried finding multiple solutions to it but no resolve what-so-ever. I have update the capcut to its latest version, I cleaned cache, I restarted my phone.
I even tried in my Ipad and same problem accurs! and again, it isn't internet connection because I am able to enter anywhere, youtube, netflix, facebook, instagram. so I don't know what the problem is!
I also tried it on my Iphone 13 and same issue.
I own an Iphone 16 pro max.
(thats my main phone) I asked my friend to try it on his Android and it works for him! but not for me! so.. please! any help or insight to this would be appreciated!!
Hi,
You did all the right things already, so this isn’t user error.
Based on your details, it points to one of the below:
Key clues you gave (very important ones):
-
Effects stuck on “Loading” or “No internet connection”
-
Internet clearly works (YouTube, Netflix, socials)
-
Happens on multiple Apple devices (iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 13, iPad)
-
Works on Android (your friend)
-
Started suddenly about an hour ago
This strongly suggests an iOS-side CapCut service issue, not your devices, not your Wi-Fi, not your account setup.
Most likely causes
1. CapCut iOS effects server issue
CapCut effects are cloud-based. When CapCut iOS CDN or effect servers hiccup:
-
The app falsely says “no internet”
-
Effects load forever
-
Android may still work as it has a separate backend
This has happened before, and it usually:
-
Affects specific regions
-
Affects only iOS
-
Fixes itself within hours
This is currently the most possible explanation.
2. Apple Private Relay / iCloud interference
CapCut really doesn’t like Apple’s privacy routing sometimes.
Try this exactly:
On your iPhone (main device):
-
Settings → Apple ID → iCloud
-
Turn Private Relay OFF
-
Restart phone
-
Open CapCut → try effects
Also:
-
Settings → Wi-Fi → (ⓘ on your network)
-
Turn Limit IP Address Tracking OFF
This has fixed the exact “no internet” bug for many iOS users.
3. VPN / DNS / iCloud DNS conflict
Even if you don’t think you are using one:
-
Check if you have:
-
iCloud Private Relay
-
Any VPN profile
-
AdGuard / NextDNS / custom DNS
-
Quick test:
-
Switch to mobile data
-
OR connect to a different Wi-Fi
If effects suddenly load → it’s DNS-related.
4. CapCut account sync issue
Less common, but try this once:
-
Open CapCut
-
Log out of your account
-
Force close app
-
Reopen → log back in
-
Try effects again
What you don’t need to do as you already did them
-
Reinstalling again
-
Clearing cache again
-
Restarting devices again
-
Resetting network settings (hold off)
You’ve already ruled these out.
Based on our experience
Because:
-
it affects only iOS
-
across multiple Apple devices
-
started suddenly
-
Android works
This is almost certainly on CapCut’s side, not yours.
In past cases like this, CapCut:
-
fixes it silently
-
doesn’t always post status updates
-
resolution time: 1–24 hours (usually faster)
Temporary workarounds (if you must edit now)
-
Export project → finish effects on Android
-
Use CapCut desktop if available to you
-
Avoid cloud effects (some basic local effects may still work)
What we recommend doing right now
-
Disable iCloud Private Relay
-
Toggle Limit IP Address Tracking off
-
Try once more
-
If still broken → wait it out (annoying, but safest)
Can you tell us:
-
Your country/region
-
Whether Private Relay was ON
We will tell you exactly if others are seeing it too and what to expect next
