I was trying to export a video that I have been working on it for three days and when I tried to export it the app said that there was "media lost" so I tried to find what media was lost and each file that I used in the project was in my desktop and the app recognize all of them but it does not allow me to export the project... I could not solve it and I need help to find a solution because I need it.

Hi,

The error code 10011 in capcut means there is something wrong with your media file. This issue can stem from various factors, but here are some common solutions that have helped other users:

  • Check for Missing or Corrupted Files: Ensure all media files used in your project are intact and properly linked. A missing or corrupted file can disrupt the export process.
  • Clear Cache: Accumulated cache can cause performance issues. To clear the cache:
  • On PC: Click on the Settings icon within CapCut, navigate to 'Settings' > 'Cache size', and select the delete option.
  • On Mobile Devices: Go to your device's settings, find CapCut under your apps, and choose 'Clear cache'.
  • Enable Proxy and Pre-Processing: Enabling proxy files and pre-processing clips:
  • Enable Proxy: In CapCut's settings, turn on the proxy feature to create lower-resolution versions of your media for smoother editing.
  • Pre-Process Clips: Right-click on each clip in your timeline and select 'Pre-Process' to prepare the media for export.
  • Combine Clips into a Compound Clip: This is the most likely solution. Merging all your clips into a single compound clip can sometimes resolve export errors. To do this, select all clips in your timeline, right-click, and choose 'Create Compound Clip'.
  • Adjust Export Settings: Lowering the resolution, frame rate, or bitrate can reduce the file size and ease the export process. Before exporting, try setting the resolution to 1080p or 720p and the frame rate to 30fps or 25fps.
  • Free Up Storage Space: Ensure your device has sufficient storage for the export process. Deleting unnecessary files or applications can help free up space.
  • Update CapCut: Make sure you're using the latest version of CapCut, as updates often include fixes for known issues.

These steps should be able to resolve your export error code 10011 problem.
