Hello guys!
On Capcut, I just dragged a entire folder filled with files into the media area. I clicked on it, and it opens. How do I come back to the root? I mean, I don't see any buttom like "back" or something.
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
When you click on a folder within the CapCut media panel, it navigates into that folder to show you its contents.
To get back to the main ("root") media view where you saw the folder icon initially, look at the very top of the media panel section.
You should see a navigation path, called "breadcrumbs", that looks something like this:
Media > [Your Folder Name]
or perhaps:
Local > [Your Folder Name]
To go back, simply click on the word "Media" or "Local" (or whatever the first part of that path is) in that breadcrumb trail.
There isn't usually a dedicated graphical "Back" button arrow like in a web browser, but clicking the parent level name in that path serves the exact same function.
Reopen the Media Importer: If navigation controls are absent, try closing the current media panel and reopening the media importer. This action should reset the view to the root directory, enabling you to access all your media files.
Restart CapCut: As a last resort, closing and restarting CapCut can refresh the media area, returning you to the main media directory.
