Hi,
To mark a clip in CapCut on PC, you can use the shortcut "M" on your keyboard. This is just the way you do for premiere pro or final cut Pro which you mentioned. Here's how:
- Place the cursor: Position the cursor in your timeline where you want to add the marker.
- Press M: Simply press the letter M key on your keyboard. This will add a marker at the cursor's position.
- Edit the marker: Double-click the marker: Double-click on the marker in the timeline. This will open up a window where you can edit the marker.
- Rename: You can change the name of the marker to something more descriptive.
- Change color: You can also change the color of the marker for better visual organization.
If the above keyboard shortcut of "M" is not working then here is how you can add markers in CapCut without using the shortcut:
- Select the Clip: Click on the clip in the timeline where you want to add a marker.
- Access the Marker Tool: With the clip selected, look for a flag icon, typically located at the top left corner of the interface. This flag represents the marker tool.
- Add the Marker: Click on the flag icon to place a marker at the current playhead position on the selected clip.
Markers in CapCut help you to easily navigate and organize your video editing projects, especially large ones. They act like visual notes in your timeline, allowing you to quickly jump to specific points in your video.
