Multiple Windows

It is not possible to open two CapCut windows simultaneously to directly copy and paste items between projects.

Currently, CapCut does not support opening multiple project windows at the same time. This means you cannot have two projects open side-by-side to drag and drop or directly copy-paste assets from one to another.

While direct copy-pasting between different CapCut project windows isn't available, there are alternative methods you can use to transfer items between your projects:

• Export and Import Assets: You can export assets (like video clips, audio, effects, or adjustments) from one project and then import them into another. This is a common workaround.
• Templates: If you are reusing a set of elements frequently, consider creating a template in CapCut. You can then apply this template to different projects, which can save time compared to exporting and importing individual assets repeatedly.
• Save Clips as Presets: In CapCut, you can right-click on a clip and select "Save to presets." This allows you to reuse the clip in other projects by accessing it from your presets library.
• Create Compound Clips: Combine multiple assets (e.g., clips, text, music tracks) into a single "compound" clip. You can then save this compound clip to your presets and use it across different projects.
• Duplicate Projects: If you need to use elements from an existing project, consider duplicating the project and making necessary adjustments. This approach allows you to retain the original project's structure while creating a new version for further editing. 

Implementing a feature that allows multiple windows or the ability to copy and paste between projects would indeed enhance the editing experience. Sharing this suggestion with CapCut's development team could lead to its consideration in future updates.
