Hello,
I have a problem regarding the ai tool. On the web app ,for the background magic for products, you are not able to scroll down using your mouse, the side bar or the arrow keys although it does work occasionally. You need to scroll down to see the different images relating to the theme. I have attached a screenshot to show you what I mean and have tried on 2 more different devices but it still doesn't work. I hope I can be enlightened to the cause of this problem and it can be resolved shortly.
For the capcut ai product photos, I'm not able to scroll down to select the background. There is no scroll button even using the down arrow key on my computer it only works occasionally. Please may you solve this, kind regards
Hi,
It looks like you are experiencing a scrolling issue with the AI background generation tool on the CapCut web app. Since you've tested this on different devices and the problem persists, it could be caused by:
Possible causes & solutions:
-
Browser compatibility issue
- The first step is to test on completely different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). This will quickly tell you if it's a browser-specific problem.
- Ensure your browser is updated to the latest version. Older versions can have rendering issues.
-
Web app glitch or bug
- Since scrolling works occasionally, it could be a temporary bug in the web app. Try accessing the tool again after some time.
- Try refreshing the page (Ctrl + R / Cmd + R).
- Clear your browser cache and cookies, then restart the browser.
- While you've tried on different devices, there might be a common factor (like a specific OS or setting) causing the problem. If possible, test on a device with a different operating system (e.g., if you're on Windows, try it on a Mac or a mobile device).
-
Mouse or trackpad issue
- If you are using a mouse, check if scrolling works on other sites.
- On a trackpad, try two-finger scrolling or using the keyboard's
Page Down

- Extensions and hardware acceleration:
- Temporarily disable all browser extensions and see if the scrolling works. If it does, re-enable them one by one to identify the problematic extension.
- Zoom Level: An unusual zoom level can sometimes interfere with scrolling.
- Reset Zoom: Ensure your browser's zoom level is set to 100%.
- Disable Hardware Acceleration: Sometimes, hardware acceleration in the browser can cause rendering problems. Disable hardware acceleration in your browser settings and see if that helps.
