Hi,

By the looks of it and based on the style of the font in your screenshot, it looks very similar to the Chewy font in CapCut.

Read our full guide on downloading and using custom fonts on CapCut.

Chewy is a playful, rounded, and handwritten-style font that is often used for a fun and informal vibe, which matches the style in your example "day in the life" text.

Here is why it is likely to be Chewy font and how you can try to find it again in CapCut:

  • Rounded and thick: The font in your image has distinct rounded letterforms and a bold, thick appearance, which are key characteristics of the Chewy font.
  • Handwritten style: It has a casual, handwritten feel, not a formal or blocky style, which is also consistent with Chewy.
  • Playful and cartoonish: Chewy font is known for its playful and slightly cartoonish look, fitting the overall aesthetic of the "day in the life" text in your example.

How to find Chewy font in CapCut:

  1. Open CapCut and go to add Text: Start a new project or open an existing one and go to the text editing section where you can add text layers.
  2. Browse the Font List: Once you are in the text editor, look for the font selection dropdown menu.
  3. Look for "Chewy" or Handwritten/Cartoon Categories:
    • Scroll through the font list and see if you can find "Chewy" listed directly.
    • CapCut categorizes fonts. Look for categories like "Handwriting," "Script," "Cartoon," or "Fun" and browse within those categories. "Chewy" might be located in one of these.
  4. Use the Font Preview: As you scroll through the font list, CapCut shows a preview of the font with your text. Compare the previews to the style in your screenshot to see if "Chewy" or a very similar font is available.

If you cannot find "Chewy" anymore:

  • Font library updates: App font libraries can change over time. It is possible CapCut has updated its font selection, and "Chewy" might have been moved, renamed, or, in less likely scenarios, removed.
  • Look for similar fonts: If "Chewy" is no longer available, try to find other fonts in CapCut that have a similar rounded, bold, and handwritten style. Fonts with names suggesting "hand", "marker", "bubble", "cartoon", or "playful" might be good alternatives.

How to add custom Chewy font if the option is not found in CapCut?

Here is how you can add Chewy font if the font is not found built in CapCut:

For CapCut (Mobile Version - iOS & Android)

  1. Download the Font File

    • Go to a trusted font website like DaFont or Google Fonts.
    • Download the font in .TTF or .OTF format.
  2. Import the Font into CapCut

    • Open CapCut and create a new project.
    • Tap on Text > Add Text > Font.
    • Scroll to the bottom and select "Upload Font" (or "Add Font").
    • Locate the downloaded font file on your device and import it.
  3. Apply the Custom Font

    • Once uploaded, select the font from your list.
    • Customize it with colors, animations, and effects as needed.

For CapCut (PC/Desktop Version)

  1. Download the Font

    • Download a font file in .TTF or .OTF format.
    • If the file is in a ZIP folder, extract it first.
  2. Install the Font on Your Computer

    • Windows:
      • Right-click on the font file and click Install.
    • Mac:
      • Double-click the font file and select Install Font in Font Book.
  3. Use the Font in CapCut

    • Open CapCut and go to Text > Fonts.
    • Your installed system fonts should automatically appear under "System Fonts."
    • Select and apply your custom font!

It is a very strong visual match of Chewy font based on the characteristics you described and the style of the font in the image.

We hope this helps you find the font or add it manually for your CapCut edits.
