Hi, I hope you are well and having a lovely week. I work in social media for a BBC radio station and we are looking at having more staff be able to create videos. With capcut- would we be able to have import custom assets and also import the BBC specific font for subtitles?

Also, how much would it cost per person?

Hi

It is nice to hear that your BBC radio station is empowering more staff to create videos. CapCut is a user-friendly editing tool, and here is how you can proceed on this:

Importing custom assets & BBC Font

  • Custom assets: CapCut allows you to import logos, images, and video clips, making it easy to maintain consistent branding.
  • BBC Font: You should be able to import the BBC's specific font for subtitles, as CapCut supports a wide range of fonts. If the font is installed on your computer, you can also access it within CapCut, but ensure the file format is compatible.

About your query regarding cost per person

  • Free version: CapCut offers a robust free version with essential editing tools such as importing a font or asset in your case.
  • Pro Version: CapCut Pro includes advanced features like enhanced effects, cloud storage, and more editing tools. Pricing varies based on subscription plans (monthly/annual), check within your capcut app for exact pricing depending on your location.

Few things to note:

  • Brand consistency: With multiple staff members creating videos, establish clear guidelines for BBC branding, including font usage, logo placement, color schemes, and video style.
  • Training & support: Provide staff training on CapCut to ensure they use it effectively and adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Workflow management: Define a structured process for video creation, review, and approval to maintain quality control.

What to do next:

  1. Download & explore CapCut: Have your team try the free version to get familiar with its features. You can get the download link for capcut on our website.
  2. Check font compatibility: Test if the BBC font can be imported into CapCut.
  3. Establish brand guidelines: Create a document outlining branding standards for video content.
  4. Evaluate CapCut Pro: If the free version is not having the features that your require, then assess whether upgrading to Pro is worth it for your team.

By following these steps, your BBC radio station can efficiently use CapCut to produce high-quality videos while maintaining brand consistency.
