Why are all of my videos gone?

I opened up CapCut to edit a few more videos before I went to sleep. And it asked what I used CapCut for. I answered the questions and “poof” ALL of my videos were gone. I’m super sad because I was just about to upload one to my YouTube. And I don’t have any of my memories because the video is gone! Does anyone know why this happened and how to get them back?
