If you are facing issue of video lagging at the time of export. Try these troubleshooting steps:
Check System Resources
- RAM & CPU: Exporting high-resolution videos or projects with many effects is demanding. Ensure you have at least 8GB of RAM and a capable processor.
- Storage Space: Free up disk space, as CapCut requires temporary storage for processing.
2. Reduce Project Complexity
- Video Length: Longer videos take more time to export.
- Effects & Transitions: Heavy effects and layers can slow down processing.
- Resolution & Frame Rate: Exporting at 4K or 60fps takes longer—try 1080p or 30fps for faster results.
3. Address Software Issues
- Update CapCut: Ensure you're using the latest version.
- Close Background Apps: Free up system resources by shutting down unnecessary programs.
- Disable Hardware Acceleration: In CapCut settings, toggling this off may improve stability.
4. Adjust Export Settings
- Lower Resolution & Bitrate: Reducing these can speed up export times.
- Try Different Formats: Exporting as MP4 instead of MOV (or vice versa) might help.
5. Additional Fixes
- Restart Your Computer: This can resolve minor glitches.
- Clear CapCut Cache: Removes temporary files that could be causing problems.
- Test with a Simple Project: Export a shorter, less complex video to check if the issue persists.
Following these steps should help resolve CapCut export issues and improve performance.
