Hello everyone,
I don't know what happened with my capcut, as you can see in my uploaded video when i split the video in capcut, the bottom one when i move it, it is dragging the other video. I have been tried reinstalled and using the newest version of capcut but can't fix it. Before that i am using on windows 10 it's normal.
Does anyone have this glitch like this?

If splitting a video in CapCut causes the bottom clip to drag the top clip, it's likely due to how the clips are layered and connected. Try these solutions:
1. Check for Overlapping Clips
- Identify Overlaps: Examine the timeline closely—any slight overlap between split clips can cause this issue.
- Adjust the Timeline:
- Zoom In: Get a detailed view of split points.
- Fine-Tune Placement: Use precision tools (arrow keys or timeline scrubber) to ensure no overlap.
2. Verify Clip Order
- Ensure the clips are arranged correctly. Misplaced clips can lead to unexpected behavior.
3. Check for Grouped Clips
- Ungroup if Necessary: If clips are grouped, they move as one. Look for the "Group" or "Ungroup" option in the editing tools.
4. Restart CapCut
- Closing and reopening the app can sometimes resolve minor glitches. Reinstall CapCut if necessary.
5. Consider Project Issues
- Create a New Project: If the problem persists, start a new project and re-import your video. Some issues may be project-specific.
6. Contact CapCut Support
- If none of these steps work, reach out to CapCut’s support team at [email protected] with details like your app version and device information.
By carefully checking overlaps, clip order, and grouping settings, you should be able to fix this issue and edit smoothly in CapCut.
