If you are facing CapCut templates displaying the "try again later" error message. This issue can come from various factors, but here are some steps you can take to resolve it:

  1. Check Your Internet Connection:

    • Ensure you have a stable internet connection.
    • Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data to see if the issue persists.
  2. Clear CapCut cache:

    • Go to Settings > Apps > CapCut > Storage.
    • Tap on Clear Cache.
    • On Android, you can also clear the app data for CapCut. This is different from just clearing the cache. Clearing data will reset the app as if it were newly installed, which can sometimes resolve persistent issues.
    • Go to Settings > Apps > CapCut > Storage & Cache > Clear Data/Clear Storage).
    • Be aware this might delete any drafts you have within the app. So please make a backup of all your files locally before attempting this step.
    • Restart the app and check if the templates load correctly.
  3. App Permissions:
    • Make sure CapCut has all the necessary permissions. Go to your phone's settings and find the settings related to CapCut app. Check that it has access to storage, camera, and any other relevant permissions.
  4. Update the app:

    • Ensure you're using the latest version of CapCut.
    • Alternatively, visit the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android) to check for updates.
  5. VPN/Proxy mode
    • If you're using a VPN or proxy, try disabling it. Sometimes these can interfere with app functionality.
    • Alternatively, if you are not connected using VPN then try using one to see if it solves the problem. Some of the features of CapCut are region restricted meaning it might not yet be available in your country.
    • Also, connecting through VPN resolves issues related to ISP, IP address, network buffer etc.
  6. Reinstall CapCut:

    • Uninstall the app from your device.
    • Restart your device.
    • Reinstall CapCut from the official app store.
    • If you have another account (Google, Apple, etc.) that you can use to sign into CapCut, then login with the alternate account. This can help determine if the problem is account-specific.
  7. Check for Server Issues:

    • Sometimes, it is possible CapCut's servers are experiencing issues.
    • Wait for a few hours and try accessing the templates again.
  8. Other steps:

    • Ensure your phone's date and time are set correctly and, ideally, set to automatic. Incorrect date/time can sometimes cause problems with online services such as CapCut.
    • While less common, there's a small chance the templates you're trying to use might not be compatible with your specific device or operating system version. See if this issue appears on other devices/OS to rule out this issue.
    • If none of the above steps work, consider reaching out to CapCut's customer support at [email protected] for personalized assistance.

Watch the below tutorial and see if it helps in resolving your issue:

We hope these steps help you resolve the problem and get back to creating with CapCut templates.
