Hi, it has been brought up that when I click upload template, capcut checks my copyrighted music. But it has been saying can't check try again later, but I have tried for hours, restarting my phone, but it won't work
If your own music is being flagged for copyright on CapCut, you can work around it by following methods:
1. Prove Ownership
Copyright Registration – If you’ve officially registered your music, provide proof (e.g., timestamps, raw project files) to CapCut support at [email protected]
Licensing Agreements – Check if any third-party distributor allows you to use the music in templates
2. Use Alternative Audio
Creative Commons Music – Find tracks with licenses allowing template use while some music require attribution.
Royalty-Free Music – Purchase tracks that permit commercial/template use
Sound Effects – Consider using effects instead of full tracks
3. Other workarounds
Modify Audio Slightly – Small pitch or tempo changes might bypass detection (not always ethical or effective).
Try adding minor effects such as reverb, EQ tweaks etc. or change the file metadata in order to bypass the detection system. However, this is not guaranteed to work and could impact audio quality.
Upload Without Music – Uploading the template without music and instructing users to add it manually
Share the song separately via a download link (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) so that users can add it to your template directly.
Note that never use unauthorized music and provide attribution to the original creator.
